goddamn. We lost 2 Powers within a week's time. 2 of the important men in hip hop history. Damn. This is crazy beause as a Spurs fan, last season, I kept using him as an example to why Popovich should retire before the stroke forced him out. I kept saying one of the greatest engineers ever is now in his 70s, but his ears don't work the way they did 30 years ago so he now teaches instead of mix records.

The Low End Theory is my favorite album of all-time. First time I ever heard of Bob Power, was when I was a kid, and had that album. I used to love finding his older interviews and reading about his history and process in the studio. Dude was a giant in the industry. Absolute artist and genius behind the boards.
