i remember first seeing him on cb4 in the early 90s and his character 'gusto' was easily my favorite. then on the players club as 'brooklyn' whooping bernie macs ass. breh had the thick ass ny accent and was always a strong presence in every film.

i didnt realize he was eddie murphys brother until chappelle show. even though they look alike, it never correlated with me until later. to see him on chappelle show was so different because in every movie role before, dude was always a tough ass hard nails character. so to see him do comedy was so refreshing and he didnt have to fake it or be something he wasnt. just seemed like a genuine man.

his stories will live forever and im sure eddie is just as proud as charlie was of him. thank you charlie for making my senior year in high school the best because all we could do was talk about what happened on chappelle show and them true hollywood stories were the goat. rest with love and have some pancakes with prince and try not to kick the shyt out of rick.

do you like all their podcasts or just this one with Charlie Murphy?
I've heard every episode except the couple of times they interviewed pornstars

Dope ass podcast

You gotta deal with white men's infinite curtious with all things black (and brown), but, they legit have interesting people and Moshe and Neal are pretty good interviews

I got most of them on my PC and wanted to share

Charlie was actually one of the best

Him getting sliced in the face:picard:

His gang in high school:russ:

The story about the ripped check :mjlol:

Met dude 3x in my life and he didn't know me for shyt but was always pleasant and had that huge smile. My favorite memory was going to a matinee movie of some comedy during the week it was like an 11:15am showing. I walked into the theater and noticed him walking ahead of me, gave him a what's up and a hand shake and sat down. It was him another dude he was with and myself. Only us 3 in the movie and I got to hear his laugh over and over loud and clear, his laugh made me laugh and made the movie that much better. Wish I could remember which movie it was. Anyway I had a private Charlie Murphy laugh concert.
