i remember first seeing him on cb4 in the early 90s and his character 'gusto' was easily my favorite. then on the players club as 'brooklyn' whooping bernie macs ass. breh had the thick ass ny accent and was always a strong presence in every film.
i didnt realize he was eddie murphys brother until chappelle show. even though they look alike, it never correlated with me until later. to see him on chappelle show was so different because in every movie role before, dude was always a tough ass hard nails character. so to see him do comedy was so refreshing and he didnt have to fake it or be something he wasnt. just seemed like a genuine man.
his stories will live forever and im sure eddie is just as proud as charlie was of him. thank you charlie for making my senior year in high school the best because all we could do was talk about what happened on chappelle show and them true hollywood stories were the goat. rest with love and have some pancakes with prince and try not to kick the shyt out of rick.
