To be fair,

This year is really a player's audition for Hue Jackson. He's got to run with the organization for a year and see what he's working with.
You gotta give him a pass for this year. And probably for next.

Year 3, you wanna see a .500-ish team
Year 4, he's gotta get in.

Ideally you wish the Browns would keep him for 5 years no matter what because the Browns need consistency to turn around that culture.
I don't know how long is contract is for though.

I think McCown is good enough to hold his own and win some games.
But they'll have to get a QB in this draft (probably end up with Deshaun Watson).

They've got two Top 10 picks coming this year so that's a major boost.

That was a pretty big reach. But I don't think Jackson is married to the pick.

He's still gotta take a QB in the 1st round.

Pair up Watson with Corey Coleman and Josh Gordon, and you've got the makings of an explosive offense with an agile QB.
