Despite the fact that I almost never agreed with his cards, I was a fan and I thought he was an entertaining character and his scores always added extra fukkery. He was just as much a part of HBO Boxing as Merchant and Lampley IMO. RIP

Harold was a true historian, a legend and staple in the game...
No matter how :dahell:his score cards were he always kept it 100 and truly loved this sport...A lot of folk don't really understand how hard scoring a fight from the seats is but Harold always did his thing and loved doing it...

I've met him several times at NY golden gloves tournaments, was always a pleasure...

RIP Harold...

In Harold's voice...

"After 3 rounds I got Jones up 30-27"

He always chimed in like that, all other boxing presentations are ass in comparison. The only other broadcast I enjoyed watching was USA Friday night fights (i think that was the name)

I can't stand Showtime's setup, RIP characters of my youth :to:

RIP :mjcry:

Spent my childhood watching fights, keeping my own scorecard and no matter how off some of his scorecards were, the validation when I'd tell my fam or my boys how I had it and HL came in with the same card as me :blessed:
