When 50 & G-Unit came along, it was cool to pretend like Murder INC wasn't hot, but they held it down in the late 90s - early 00's. Irv had an eye for talent and blessed us with Ashanti & Lloyd, too. RIP to him.

RIP to a very important figure in our genre. Big Murder Inc fan. It’s just a little baffling how he went downhill so fast with no breaks. We don’t know about his personal life daily. Condolences to all his friends and family. I am still kinda shocked. Irv GOTTI!!!

I think 50 is a clown and Im not a fan of his at all but didn't Irv literally try & have dude murdered? I guess he could say nothing at all but some issues are generational.
