He went to rehab like an idiot for sympathy points....it was all to "rehab" his image. The problem is he isnt a movie star he has an actual job...once you go to rehab you're quitting booze permanently. Seems like he had no plan in doing so.

You don't go to rehab for 6 months for an image do over. :francis: He woulda only done like 6 weeks. :yeshrug:

He had a coke habit, drinking wasn't the issue.

He was there for 10 weeks in the offseason...it was all bullshyt. And if he's drinking to get drunk he's probably still doing coke. People kissed his ass for going to rehab...thought it was obvious it was bs

You're right, Le Batard was saying 6 months today. Shame on me for trusting ESPN:snoop:

I agree, I said the Browns should have started Manziel from week 2 when McCown got concussed but no one wants Party Boy to be the QB of their franchise. I doubt he gets another shot
He'll get another shot, the rest of the league is desperate for qbs

So it's his fault someone else recorded him casually recording him enjoying himself? Trouble free?..this shyt ain't cool

It's not cool, but this is like the thousandth time this has happened. I mean pettine clearly doesn't like him, but what is he to do? The kid refuses to just lay low. Between the fukkery last year, the girlfriend issue this year, the random ass story that "anonymous" browns players wanted him to start after Tennessee (implying a divide in the locker room week 3 of the season), it's just been one shyt show after the next. I get that the vid isn't a big deal in most people's eyes, but whatever has been going on behind the scenes has got the coach, GM, and ownership all to agree on his benching.

Now all 3 of them are fukkin morons as far as I'm concerned and I don't know what this benching accomplishes but everyone is dysfunctional and im pretty sick of it all.

He went to rehab because of the bullshyt pc culture of "conduct detrimental to the image of the NFL", surrounding the league. He was 22, a millionaire and damn near a celebrity, so he wild out a little, unless it affected practice and conduct on the field, it's a non issue. WE .i.e. fans keep giving the media a pass for this bullshyt sports journalism gossiping like some hoes on LSA. How many people on the coli would like for their employeer to get copies of their comments online, or off line and be used against them for jobs, demotions, etc.....,
dudes commenting and gossiping about nikkas personals lives in sports outside of the field off play( other than betting reasons) are as bad as bytches watching the view:scust:

all 23 million miles of useful land
Kid's been given multiple chances. Last year, while Teddy B and Carr were developing, he was off being a fukk boi getting drunk on floating swans.

In the off season, he was in rehab as a 22 year old to most likely deal with his cocaine use. This season, he's still being a fukk boi off the field and the coaches don't want to deal with it anymore.

He clearly doesn't take his job seriously and the Browns as an organization (including the owner) are ready to move on. Look where Carr and Teddy B are in their development, he should already have the starting job and winning a game here or there. Kid doesn't give a fukk about his job. Time to tank for #1 overall and get Goff and start from there.
no a vikings fan, but i like Teddy Bridgewater, I wish jerry could make a trade to snag him from vikes, but after Quincy Carter, I don't think Jerral will not trust a negro to run his offense.

That turn around was fast. :dwillhuh:

Oh well. :yeshrug:

I'm sorry, this is what's wrong with NFL, sports media, and dreaded" conduct determinal to the league" comment. This is a grown as man going to the club on his bye week, no incidents, and because there is a 5 second video, he gets demoted, wtf. This is why sports league should not have free reigns to discipline their employees(players), and leave discipline up the court system.

Who had just finished rehab (or might still be in for all we know) and had a domestic violence incident a few weeks earlier. People pointed out Bridgewater and Carr who were drafted in the same year and all have taken some good steps in progress as QB. Manziel is still trying to stop being a screwup off the field.
