I know several people who had personally met Pat Summitt. Talked to them today and it was so refreshing.

In a day where "GOAT" is overused, and I'm admittedly one of those dudes who throws that around, she really is the GOAT female coach. From $8900 her first year to $1.5 million her last year put that sport on the map.

Pat was tough as nails. She always used to scare me as a child watching those Lady Vols games. She's a legend. One of bballs all-time greatest minds.

She was one of the greatest basketball coaches of all time. She revolutionized women's sports and put women's basketball on the map and she did so without making excuses based on her gender. I would have loved to see her coach a men's Olympic team.

This was a hard loss for me.
All because I really wanted to meet this lady.
All cause I thought she was one of the best matriarchs and people in American history.
She was a real inspiration and just getting to see her huddles was fortifying even for a male witnessing female athletics.

All time she was one of my favorite Americans, period.
