Theres been a few decent songs but theres no movement, mid 90s rock was the last great rock movement where every group had hits and was selling records...It died off when boy bands starting taking off in the late 90s...
Nu Metal was the last movement breh.

Thought he died years ago. I knew him and the lead from Alice in chains were big dope users. It's something how you can be rich for 20 years and be a steady addict. I honestly have no sympathy for people like that in a position to have all the help required and still waste life. STP sucked anyway. Where is the new Tool album?

Nah, if you came up during the 90's and even slightly fukked with MTV then you were exposed to at least some of this shyt. Didn't necessarily meant you fukked with it. Just like a redneck might not fukk with black music, but knows who MJ is. Back then, they'd drop some shyt like this after dropping some Boot Camp Click or Brand Puba.

Yea.. if you messed with mtv back in the 90s, then you had to have been exposed to some of this music.

Nin's closer vid, that 3little pigs vid, AiC I Stay Away...

shyt this was Mtv in it's PRIME. Think some of the dudes saying this shyt, must be early 20s/late teens

It wasn't a matter of if but when. Honestly didn't expect him to outlive Layne Staley. Just heard 2 weeks back that STP got rid of the singer from Linkin Park and expected to hear that he was coming back.

Scott went to rehab a number of times and had bouts of him being sober for a while. Layne went FULL ON in being a junkie which spiraled into him being a recluse and just suffering on that shyt until it eventually killed him....like he said it would.

Nah...for me, STP videos in the 90's just meant Yo Mtv Raps was over...

But your courage to joke openly and publicly about topics you're unsure of is astonishing:russ:
When i was younger i had fukks to give but as i grew older i realized i had none and could be blatantly wrong with a straight face and proceed to tell people that correct me to fukk off.

Something changed. :wow:

Yup you can tell who grew up with no cable :russ: My cousins and my sister and I fukked with MTV heavy. Some videos were played so much you couldn't help but know some rock songs. "Smells like teen spirit" is the first rock video I can remember.

Alot of cacs exposing themselves. I've never heard of him before.

Rip to him doe

I've never heard his name before either. Then people started posting their songs and I know the chorus to everyone. Shows how much MTV I watched back in the day because I've never listened to a rock radio station in my life or had more then 2 rock albums in my life.

:stopitslime: Most these guys were addicts before they hit it big and then when they got more money I'm sure they just bought more drugs

Money don't change you. It makes you more of what you already are
