If you’re not familiar with his albums, get familiar with them

Listen to them from start to finish

This man literally changed music unlike any other artist before or after in so many ways from starting a band of both black and white musicians, to his profound song writing, arranging and innovative producing.

All of his albums from 1967 to 1975 are must haves:

A Whole New Thing (1967)
Dance To The Music (1968)
Life (1968)
Stand (1969)
Greatest Hits (1970) - 3 new songs at the time were included in addition to the hits
There’s A Riot Goin’ On (1971)
Fresh (1973)
Small Talk (1974)

High On You (1975) - solo album w/out band

Oh and I can’t forget to mention him and the Family Stone’s Woodstock performance which is also a live album, The Woodstock Experience. Iconic

Rip to him dead president's sound track really put me on to him . I'll check the bio

The Hughes Brothers did a a great job with how they honored him with using “”If You Want Me To Stay” in their movie

That scene where the song plays is so perfect

Yeah, check out the doc and the bio
