Not a fan of Drake but the bassist Larry Graham In Sly’s band is his uncle. He’s Dennis Graham’s half brother.

Prob worth pointing that out on a hip hop forum for folks who don't know.

Larry changed the game for bass players with his slap technique.

He also formed his own band Graham Central Station who are worth checking out.

I loss my dad last year and it’s tough

I lost my dad this April. It’s super tough. But Sly was getting rotations in my home and I’ve sampled a few of their records. RIP to legend.
