Just on some fluke chit I was watching the Final Chapter today, and they put up the day he died and I said
"Well gottdamn, that's today!"

I done had "Wood Wheel", "Pop The Trunk", and "Like That" on repeat since.

Might I add:

Hol' up.

She got me in the car & told me we was headed to P.A to Pimp funeral...

That hoe was pacced & it was sad af..

Got a chance to meet Bun, Bishop Don, Webbie, Slim Thug, Letoya Luccet..

Crazy how the rap scene in Houston had greatest mainstream prominence from 05 (Pimp’s prison release)to 07 (Pimp’s death) then just totally disappeared off the map. I’m not sure the city can ever recover from the loss of Pimp. Nobody else has that combination of realness and personality.

@shopthatwrecks what you think?
Tell u the truth .. they should have stayed indie

Major can’t do shyt for u but help distribute

nikkas should have leant from ugk 91- til the day pimp went to the pen n when he died

Jive censored n held them back from networking

Bun said the move exposed them to the east coast

They didn’t gain nuthin from album sales didn’t go up or anything

They wanted jay for the dirty money to return the favor no jay hell no dmx or whomever else big on the east at the time had to settle for jermaine Dupri

Jay fukked over Texas 3 times he burnt bun twice n fukked slim thug over
