Zoboomafoo lemur Jovian has died

Starred with Chris and Martin Kratt on delightful PBS nature show

Noooo ... Jovian was so cute.

TVLine writes that , according to the Duke Lemur Center (whose website appears to have crashed), "the star is survived by partner Pia and brother Julian, as well as seven children and four grandchildren." Jovian, who died on Monday from kidney failure, was 20 years old.

Martin Kratt, who with brother Chris got very excited about animals on PBS's Zoboomafoo show from 1999 to 2001, said “He was very social and calm. He was young and good-looking and very gentle.” BTW, according to Pawnation , the average life-span for a lemur is 16-20 years in the wild and an average of 25 years in captivity.

Fans of the show are very upset and Zoboomafoo is trending on Twitter.
