It’s just like what we learned from the 80s with child molesters in the neighborhoods. You just don’t think humans are capable of doing what they’re doing until they do it.

In this case he’s a public figure doing this in front of the world. There’s no precedent to say “hold up, this is definitely wrong”. yeah my grandmother was 17 and my grandfather was 25 when they got together. my great grandparents owned a market and my grandmother and her sisters used to work the register and he used to come by every day just to talk to her. He just got out the army and she was still in high school. They kept it a secret and my aunt’s on his side and her side helped them hide their relationship.
