Ironically enough, I saw a clip yesterday of someone in his entourage saying that they had a conversation with Farrakahan years ago. Minister asked R if he owned his masters and how much they were worth. Rob said he was about to get them back, and they were worth $850M. Minister told him they would kill him before he got them. And then this case comes out of nowhere.

I don't care what he did. It wasn't a crime against me or anybody I know and it doesn't impact me so I'm indifferent to it.

I can't get into R. Kelly's music because I believe him to be a pedophile and listening to his music reminds me of that so I don't. Too bad because he has some great songs.

There's people like MJ who were accused of being pedophiles but I don't think he was dude was just weird because he was raised different but I don't think he was abusing kids so I easily listen to him. I think people people just exploited him for being weird.

Because there shouldn't be any cognitive dissonance. You can appreciate someone's talent and acknowledge that they are a scumbag at the same time. R. Kelly is a sick person and he deserves to be in prison for what he did. He also made great music. Both those things are true at the same time.

Bill Cosby apparently spent decades doing sexually deviant shyt to women. And he also made arguably the greatest show to depict a black family in a positive light at a time when that was rarely seen. Both of these things are true. And I still watch the Cosby Show to this day because of it's legacy. Not because I am celebrating what Cosby did in his personal life.
