All i'ma say is, they better not pull some shyt where his music is pulled but in 5 or 10 years some white people are out here covering all his hits making money. Nope. Let ALL his songs go away with him, not no "well if he's not singing them it's different" type of shyt.

...but this is exactly what's finna happen, doe.

Some music lawyer is gonna buy his catalogue, and in 2 years or so we'll hear acoustic, flavorless versions of "Ignition (Remix)" and "U Remind Me Of My Jeep" on a Jeep commercial and nobody will bat an eyelash...

EDIT - lol, I didn't even see @Diondons post when I made mine. Yep!

I can imagine the same people talking about "R. Kelly need to be cancelled" fawning over that lil Asian boy band singing Fiesta.

he isnt a relevant or money making artist anymore. This is nothing but a cheap pr move on their part with no skin in the game. If he was still 90's R.Kelly they wouldnt have dropped him.

if they were really on a high moral ground they would give him back his masters and not make anymore money off him.
what are you talking about he isn't relevant or money making? :laff: yo ya'll really not in touch with reality

It's over for him, he's being blackballed from the entire industry at this point.

Of course his label won't let him die off without eating off his masters.

As despicable as his behavior is he'll eventually be vindicated not because he's innocent but because attention spans are just that short.

What will happen here is he'll put out new music that's jamming and it'll make him a ton of money and record companies will be trying to sign him. Sony might even ask him back.

I'm talking years down the line.

Not caping for dude but....as bad as all this looks now it's already blowing over. Away from twitter and social media many folks are actively blaming the parents and others for even allowing young girls around dude. Again that's not justification at all but clearly these fame/money hungry parents should have handled things differently.

All savages, along with the Sony Japs.
How Black artists ended up with these white and jap labels is a mystery that needs to be explained
Ain't no mystery. All those labels merged into 3 or 4 giant conglomerates.

Sony had nothing to do with R. Kelly until halfway through the 2000s
