- They told R Kelly they were underaged
- R Kelly accepted they were underaged
- R Kelly told them to continue to lie about being underaged

Mistake of Age defenses rarely, if ever hold up in court and if they do its usually in solicitation, not in actual sex.

So no issues for the women who were there who were also having sex with the girls. Why were they having sex with young girls. Why did they all stay with him for so long? Could it be they chose to? Even if they started there at 17 they didn’t leave until within their 20s. And some of the women were already in their 30s.
these weren’t no one night stand things. They literally stayed with him for years in the most part.

I know this might shock you, but just because women stay with their abusers doesn't make the abuse against them legal, no matter how long they stay.
