Idk what it is breh, but I never been a fan of R Kelly's music. I know he's a legend and all but :yeshrug:. I'm picky as fukk when it comes to R&B

As far as R&B, I like more of the smoothed out type. Anita Baker, Maxwell, Carl Thomas, Marvin Gaye, Mary J Blige, Curtis Mayfield, Nat King Cole, Sam Cooke, etc
Stevie Wonder and Micheal Jackson are the only non smoothed out shyt I fukk with :hubie:

I wish R Kelly can make more songs like this

:banderas:

Smoothed out R&B is definitely one of Kells strong points

He made Brown Sugar and that album to me is by far among the best R&B albums of all time and I ain't even exaggerating
Like I put that album up there w/ Let's Get It On, Let's Stay Together, Superfly, Quiet Storm albums of the 70's IMO etc etc.
It's the only R&B album from the 90's I put on the same level as those albums from the 70's I named.
He made the only R&B album in the last 23 years I think that is in the same realm as many R&B albums of the prime era of 70's R&B albums
Voodoo and Black Messiah are classics as well.
