RIP...greatest portrayal of a DI ever on the screen
To think the crew didn’t know he could get mean enough to do it :laughingphil:. Man was hired as a consultant for the role and ended up doing a take where people threw I think tennis balls at him and he didn’t even react to that while still doing the scene :wow:

RIP...greatest portrayal of a DI ever on the screen

Because he wasn't acting

The movie was pretty good after boot camp, but it was so good with him in it and the tone changes so much people feel like it started to suck.

There were a lot of classic scenes later on “me love you long time”, the “duality” scene, the sniper, etc.

When I was younger I used to think it was 2 seperates movies

Had no idea this dude died. Watching the movie Switchback rn from 1997 and he is in it. Forgot how iconic this dude was where everyone might not know his name but they know that face and that voice. Also stuck out to me as the voice of the green army man from toy story
