Gonna check the video, but this isn't surprising to me, a number of people would think that, especially rappers from that era, LL was a superstar first and coming up a lot of people looked up to L as the confident lyrical styled out MC. I have Pac ahead of L overall, technically I haven't really thought about it, but from a conventional perspective an understandable opinion, Pac himself was an LL fan.
