I can't wake to find out what knocked this building down. Buildings in this country usually don't fall down like this. Hopefully they can rescue a lot of people

It's gonna be:

#1: Materials issues
#2: Inspection issues
#3: They were overloading the roof or some shyt at the breaking point where the collapse started


I'm not saying that as three options. I'm betting that ALL three of those are a factor. Maybe engineering issues too but I'm betting materials and age were the starting problems over design.

Looks more like no measures were taken to shore up the foundation/mitigate the sinking. one of the most expensive - NEW - condo buildings in SF was sinking and they spent crazy money to fix the foundation
