2. Some of the historic racism still creates problems today, were in Canada there isn't any historical, to the same degree. Also positive figures, like Obama, Oprah or board members does not paint a full picture. What about the failures?

3. If Obama won the popular vote. My bad. last I heard he lost slightly. But you still have a large body that does not want him in. I still disagree with segregation, it's now systematically done instead of legally. Also crime and other issues should be taken into account, not just head counts at the top.

now this is the kind of post I like.

1. I don't know man, talking to canadians while I was there, they too agree that it's not the utopia people try to paint and that there is def an undertone of racism, ESPECIALLY toward the natives and asians. There's just not enough black folks to go around comparing it with the States, also the lack of history.

2. Fair enough, however their accomplishments compared to say Brazil or D.Republic which have an even LONGER history than the U.S should prove the point that we're progressive. Most of the new world had black slaves, and out of them all, we have great examples (the ones I listed) on why the U.S is the most aggressive.

Well I highly doubt 100% of cacs are going to be for Obama or a black man, I'm not naive, but why act like the majority of canadian cacs wouldn't have a problem with blacks if their was 10% of blacks.
