Is there a valid on court reason for why she thinks the Nets need Gobert even though their team has 2 of the better shot blocking interior bigs in the league?

Probably Utah as they don’t really have a replacement for him. If he asks for the full 5, then I’m looking at my options to see what’s out there.
Gobert is a good player, but not worth Giannis level money and being the highest paid player in the league.

DJ hasn't been a shot blocker since 2017, Jarrett Allen gets beat around inside by a lot of dudes. Being a good shot blocker doesn't necessarily make you a good defender as well.
