Racism In Miami

Never personally had any issues in miami and i live here. I’ve heard of things like that though and not just limited to Florida

You got to be capping. Which part.
Everytime I go to Miami I get vibes

It's no secret that a lot of clubs don't want large groups of black people there...let alone Black women.

Cause to them large groups of black people = trouble...a fight breaking out...but mostly it comes down to the patrons don't want to party with black people.
And the club owners think having large groups of black people there will make it seem unappealing to white and non-black patrons.
They think if too many black people show up, the club will have a bad stigma

"Ohmygod...Club ZZZ? That place is so GHETTO!!!!"


they have their little code words for us that the bartenders and bouncers use like "smurfs" (don't let too many smurfs in here tonight)
they'll have certain nights where they book certain acts that guarantee that no black people will show up (like EDM nights)
They'll have restrictive dress codes that target black people
and even if they follow the dress code, they'll pull some BS that doesn't make sense

Clubland gets racist, that's no surprise to me anymore.
I've been victim to it as a DJ and a patron.

There's definitely enough black people with money in the south especially Florida to create a upscale night club that could cater to African Americans or other black people not allowed in other night clubs......

there's alot of black clubs - question is if you want to go there lol. Lot of them are in Broward particularly Lauderdhill/Lakes area or in Miami Gardens area.

Oak is a cool spot and Ghost lounge is another (not sure if that's owned by a black person though). Bunch of caribbean and haitian spots too.

what area you stay. I've been everywhere in South Florida and I'm doing my thing and I've been harassed pretty much everywhere. I use to troll the Miami Beach cops for fukkin with me and would be in court quoting law and getting out of tickets they wrote me and then go to IA and complain. lol

overtown still there - starting to get gentrified - was crazy when I started seeing white people riding their bikes through those areas lol.

Red Rooster in overtown I heard is the spot though.

Little Haiti definitely starting to gentified, got a little innovation hub around Model City too.

They could be playing loud rap music and find some reason to deny you entry. (i.e.: can't wear this, can't wear that)

Still black and for sale. People got to invest in they community, the amount of growth in property value last few years is INSANE.. If you was buying right, you legit a millionaire and Im not talking like you need a ton of properties.

Overtown has seen investments and they definitely tryna gentrify because of proximity to downtown miami. Liberty City seen a ton of growth they knocked down alot of old projects and built out a huge new project. Opportunity for anybody really. Little haiti they REALLY want, they already took pieces of it and turned it to design district, those are houses that sold for 250-400k now worth north of 1 mil. The land lil haiti sits on is close to miami beach/downtown but sits higher than those so it doesnt flood. Very valuable, people tryna make plays. Get in where you fit in.

Lot of upscale blacks go to these spots especially Caribbean spots , they not trying to go listen to drum and bass all night .
