Why continue to sit outside and pout about not being let in? He's in the position to help create that space with like-minded individuals. This is pathetic, more than anything. Some of our people revel in victimhood. Energies would've been better spent on building a similar, more welcoming space. It still wouldn't guarantee a busboy/girl might not still feel invisible, on account of class (there are @ssholes who will treat someone in a certain position bad, period), but to at least escape some of the racist elements.

Elijah Muhammad said never force yourself where u are not wanted and was all for seperation from the whiteman. MLK on the flipside wanted everyone to be equal. This is the end result of MLK's vision. Had Black folks ran with Elijah Muhammads ideology instead, Black folks would probably have their own independent state and currency seperate from this country.

SMH......U can always tell who wasnt paying attention in history class.....Ever heard of Guerilla Warfare? Many wars have been won using this tactic. America is still licking its wounds from Vietnam. America had all that man power yet we pulled out that small country cuz the guerillas were to much. U do remember Nat turner right? he had an army he just wasnt succesful with the revolution.

We'll never know about America but Toussaint Louverture was a great example of Black folks coming together to put a foot in the whitemans ass for independence. In the book Roots, Toussaint is Kunta Kinte's hero for a reason. Ever notice how in America we are taught that Napoleaon was this great white leader but they never speak on how his troops got they assses handed to them in the Haitian revolution?

In the book Roots, Toussaint is Kunta Kinte's hero for a reason. This. We're advanced enough now that we should focus on creating our own upper echelon social activities instead of always wanting to eat at their table for acceptance. That doesn't mean be completely separatist, but degrading yourself to get someone else to hopefully love you is some bullshyt.

It's wonderful that you love your people and our history, but its dangerous to romanticize about yesteryear when coming up with tactics for today...

You need to go back and do your due diligence about the Vietnam war..

First, one major advantage was that the war was fought on Vietnam's home turf...Knowing the geography to perfection gave them a huge advantage in ground tactics

Second, Russia was huge help financially and provided the Viet-Kong with bookoo weapons including tanks and ground to air missiles

Third, the U.S was fighting the war with one hand tied behind its back because of all of the political, social, and civil opposition against the war that was going on in the states....

It literally prevented or forced the upper brass in Washington to not use the full extent of the military. It truly was a Media/Political war and the U.S. military was used probably at 50% of its full potential...

If Vietnam had something the U.S. wanted like oil, or some type of precious mineral/resource, the war would have been over in 18 months and SE Asia would be a full-fledged democracy right now.....

Thats not what i meant.....I was talking about Black folks having their own state like Elijah muhammad suggested seperate from American laws. A Black state. Something not supported and maintained by white dollars but buy Black dollars. In the same fashion Indians have their reservations with no taxes.

There's Haiti. There's South Africa. There's Brazil. I plan on going back to school to study business so that I can invest in these countries (especially South Africa: http://www.the-coli.com/locker-room...g-millions-goat-documentary.html#.UQXitr870-0)

We blacks should aspire to create our own fraternities, sororities, upper echelon social clubs, our own businesses, banks, etc. Those who insist on assimilation lack any backbone.
