A 31-year-old man accused of deliberately starting a house fire which killed a mother and her two young children has been pictured after he appeared in court today.
- Jamie Barrow, 31, appeared at Nottingham Magistrates' Court this morning
- He is charged with three counts of murder after an alleged arson attack
- A mother, 28, and her two children, one and three, died in the fire in Clifton
- The family died from smoke inhalation following a blaze at their home on Sunday
Jamie Barrow, of Fairisle Close, Clifton, is charged with the murders of Fatoumatta Hydara, 28, Naeemah Drammeh, one, and Fatimah Drammeh, aged three.
The family died from smoke inhalation following a blaze at their home in Fairisle Close, in the early hours of Sunday morning.
Barrow, who spoke only to confirm his name, address and date of birth, was ordered to appear at Nottingham Crown Court on Monday. He was remanded in custody at Nottingham Magistrates' Court.
Adjourning the case, District Judge Leo Pyle told Barrow: 'All three allegations you face have to be heard at the Crown Court and accordingly I am sending all three of these matters to the Nottingham Crown Court.'

Naeemah and Fatimah were rushed to Nottingham's Queen's Medical Centre following the blaze last weekend but nothing could be done to save them.
Fatoumatta died in hospital two days later.
Friday's hearing lasted just a few minutes and Barrow was told: 'There is no right for a bail application to be made before this court and accordingly I remand you in custody.'
The defendant was dressed in a plain grey long-sleeved top and jogging bottoms and appeared emotionless as the charges against him were read.
Nottinghamshire Police said officers charged Barrow with three counts of murder yesterday – four days after he was arrested.
Assistant Chief Constable Rob Griffin, of Nottinghamshire Police, said: 'Our thoughts remain with the family at this incredibly painful time, as well as the communities that have been affected by this most tragic of incidents.
'The grief this family has been put through is incomprehensible.
'Large teams of detectives have been working relentlessly alongside specialist search units and forensic experts to understand the full circumstances behind this deliberate fire.
'Following those inquiries, we have charged a suspect with three counts of murder.
'The family are aware of this development and I would like to sincerely thank them for their patience and understanding as we do everything we possibly can to gain justice for Fatoumatta, Fatimah and Naeemah.'
In a statement issued on Wednesday, Fatoumatta's husband, Aboubacarr Drammeh, 40, paid tribute to his loved ones and described their deaths as inconceivable.
Mr Drammeh, who flew back from the US after the fire, said: 'It is with great sadness that we have lost Fatoumatta and our two daughters in such a tragic way.
'Fatoumatta had lived a short but a very beautiful and fulfilling life.
'A former voluntary worker, Fatoumatta was a very happy, bubbly woman who wouldn't have the heart to hurt a fly.
'We thank the Ahmadi Muslim community in Nottinghamshire, the Gambian community, the local neighbours and all those well-wishers for their continuous support in this difficult time.
'I and my in-laws are left without any daughters, grandchildren and nieces. I will deeply miss my family.'

Heart-wrenching footage released by police yesterday shows the two girls happily playing and giggling together before the blaze.
One resident, who did not wish to be named, said: 'You can't imagine what that poor dad is going through – to lose your wife and children like that in one go.
'He was here yesterday but in a state of shock. He's utterly devastated, of course you would be. You can't even put yourself in that position. It is just heartbreaking.
'I didn't really know them but they seemed a lovely, happy little family.'
