Check out this article I found about the chicks family. Apparently her grandfather was the mayor of Memphis and when the black sanitation works went on strike because of the poor conditions Dr Martin Luther king Jr showed up to town to protest the racism. If her racist grandfather listened to the grievances MLK would of had no business being in Memphis the city he was assassinated in. These modern day racist might seem like average people but a lot of them come from a long line of racists who did terrible things to blacks folks.

Did they have the phone or not?

It looks fairly obvious the phone was either lost/stolen. If it was lost, they probably found it at the restaurant later, realized this is the phone they were called all types of ******s for, and went to town as they should have.

If it was stolen, someone with sense probably realized after the phone call they could get more money exposing these rednecks than they could selling the phone. I hate thieves, but everything happens for a reason. The ultimate humbling
