That's not a fair assumption of what people of color do when the resources are there you're accentuating a situation that's not normal . What are you getting at anyways ? You must know even if this situation exist it's not an accurate representation of the attitudes of most peopleI don't know why you would make that false assumption.
My inquiry was to call into question another false assumption...That public schools are failing our youth mainly due to racist agendas of white teachers administrators,etc... When the schools are ran by our own what's the excuse then?
If your answer doesn't have the word "accountablity" in it , then you lack the knowledge and wisdom to offer a proper solution.

A solution can't be resolved unless the structure is open to change which it's not... again you can't be that oblivious, who hired you?
@5thbornpowerseed you come across as a defeatist who blames the people stuck in this system for most of their problems . You're forgetting lack of resources and sabatoge of programs that do try to help. All the while we as humans are trying to figure out who we are . You talk a whole lot w someone w no solutions . Anyone can point out problems
The irony... Defeatist is saying something can't be done. I teach accountability in my class and in my programs. That's saying it's The ONLY way things can get done...
I'm in the grind. I'm in the fight since I was a teen. Blaming other muthafukas for your dumb ass decisions is defeatist...
I'm only pointing out the problem because I know for fact that the bulk of problems we face as a people, at this point in time, are self inflicted .And have nothing to do with some grand cac conspiracy or racist agenda...not to say that these things don't exist in some form... But who the fukk can stop me? Or you? Or any of us? Why you think they conspire against us? Because we're the supreme manifestation of the most high walking and talking on the planet earth. And once a person realizes this they also realize they control the outcomes in they're life. Good and bad...
Accountability... That's the solution I present.
“You don’t expect your kids going to school and having to deal with racism and discrimination in 2017,” said Lamont Webb, the girl’s father. “It’s kind of appalling.”
When did I say nothing could be done ? We actually share the same view as in people Wielding them self to success.
My problem about what you wrote is you made a sweeping generalization about black people in power and why little Is done so I responded to that specifically
You're all over the place , which you being an "educator" should know to focus on one problem at a time
Someone who works w the people should know the difference between discussing problems and proposing solutions .
And you have to be aware of who you are to have accountability .as someone who's never been sleep it's not fair for you to marginalize efforts of an oppressive system while at the same time talk about how simple it should be to get things done
You get high and mighty and feel it's cool to talk down on people who can't figure it out.
I'm on my way , and I'm only bringing solutions with me .
Accountability then what? Do you aware them of how intuitive the oppression is ? Sounds like you're ruling kids up and sending them out oblivious to a psychological war
Not talking down on people, never do... Listen when I say I speak from experience...
You may not like what I have to say but it doesn't change reality.
Yes . This system is built to fukk you up... But do you have to let it? No. That's a choice for the initiated and a trap for the ignorant.
As far as solutions... Either take over the system in its current state and change it as you see fit. Or build your own...
The particulars on economics, politics, botany,etc.. That's for the experts of those fields and it's each individuals duty to learn and put into practice as each sees fit.
not in my side, most majority black hs got some good funding...with poor funding and white teachers? Unless something has changed since I been in high school.
Yup, racism in HS is horrible especially if you are in the minority and majority are some other group. I hope the girl gets justice and knows that after 4 years she wont have to see these a$$holes againIt probably was more truth than racism saying that them other kids are racist. I went to predominantly white school for 1 year and experienced segregation like a motherfukker.
You could but there will be agents in the mist.this why im sending my kids to an all black hs
