Los Scandalous
We love horse races shakin Jakes and high-speed chases
Porno stations, drinkin violations, Godly Masons
90 minute Maxell tapes, instrumental breaks
Bangin earaches, lay my verse down in two takes
The speaker pops, the Winchester rifle's in the kitchen
Murder the DJ's eyes twitchin, woofer hissin

:lawd:

Fixed for accuracy, even tho rap lyric sites got it wrong

Am I the only one who felt like his flows were better on this than on OB4CL. It feels like it should of been his first album.

Damn I've been thinking this for YEARS but never thought to post about it anywhere. I've long believed Ghost stole the show on Cuban Linx. Obviously Rae is great on the album, but on many tracks his rhyme pattern is quite unorthodox; he says a lot of dope shyt, often without rhyming and with a sense of freestyling. Whereas for the most part Ghost sticks with a very effective multisyllabic rhyme pattern, as does Nas on Verbal Intercourse.

But on Ironman, Rae raps entirely different from CL - he adopts the multisyllabic rhyme pattern and really shines.

I will say that the flow/rhyme pattern Rae busts out on Incarcerated Scarfaces is filthy amazing tho. It's like a mixture of that fly random shyt talking style plus multisyllabic rhyming, crazy.

Ghost definitely out shined Rae on Cuban Links so Rae had to step his game up for Ironman. He kinda fell off after that. Cuban Links 2 was the first time after, that I felt rae was close to his prime.

Ghost's performance on Ironman did suffer a little from the flood thing though (voice sounded slightly different), but of course this is only his vocals, not his lyrics. Should be noted though.

no way he fell off from a rhyming standpoint. Immobilarity is Rae's pinnacle as an mc....despite the average production.

you might be right about immobilarity but the production was so :sadbron: i overlook that album. on the few tracks that I enjoy his rhyming is ok but i tried to ignore that this album existed.

Ghost on tracks like Ice Water, Glaciers of Ice, and Criminology = One of the greatest to ever do it, his verse on all those songs gets me so hyped I start actin a fool jumpin around wanting to break shyt.

Rae's flow on Ironman had much more energy than his verses on anything else and it really suits him, if only he brought more energy to OB4CL II it would have been even better than it was
