I have never heard of Ghost or Rae using writers, especially not for whole albums

I thought Superb helped with a couple lines on Supreme Clientelle, not wrote full albums and songs for Ghost.

Honestly, I’ve listened to this record a lot now and it’s a really fukking good, concise, Raekwon album

People saying the production is dated surprises me

Artists like Rae sometime can’t win

They have people saying “just give us that classic feel”

Then they get it and they say “where’s the new production?”

Not feeling the production on this. Sounds like some generic sample pack music. It doesn't compliment Rae's voice especially the drums.

The Griselda song is the perfect example of what I'm talking about. That's a type beat you could pull up on a random YouTube channel. A soul sample led beat with no soul. Rae heard that and thought Griselda but that's not them. The tempo is too fast and you'd never hear a beat like that on a Gunn album but the beats he uses sound perfect for Rae. A beat like Allah Sent Me has Rae and Ghost written all over it.

I wish these older artists would get in the lab with the producers who can get the best out of them. They could be making a classic or close to it instead of good or solid music.

Nah, Perb did a ton of writing for Ghost on that album and Wallets. He said Ghost was burnt out and could not hardly write during that time so he had to help out with songs. Solomons Child also confirmed it was Perb who got Ghost back to his A game

So now that the tour is over....it looks like they had zero promo plan beyond Rae going on IG Live? I gave Mass Appeal the benefit of the doubt, given the tour taking time away from Rae to get out there more. But we're nearly a week post the release date now, the tour ended a few days ago and it looks like there's just virtually no money behind this shyt. Again.
