For some reason black audiences support was new and popping and white audiences support support acts that have been around.

Look at the draw of legendary rock acts compared to the draw of legendary R&B or Soul acts.

Maybe that's why black music stays so innovative. They have to satisfy a fickle crowd.

Stop it, I know you promote, but let's deal with pure numbers here. Wu or any rap act performs in any majority or strong Black areas, their audiences will be mostly, I've been to enough shows in DC and Baltimore to see this.

Outside of certain areas in this country, our numbers ain't that strong. And when most of their shows overseas are in Europe, who do you expect most off their audiences to be, come on, now.

And as for 50, yeah he's done stuff in Nigeria, SA, and Angola to my knowledge. But if you think putting on a stage show throughout Africa with known international artist is easy you kidding yourself

The wu was booked to perform at an HBCU in a majority black city Savaannah Georgia but show got cancelled cause UGK was performing on that same date and the attention was on them

Method Man constantly said how the reception to him is never good in Atlanta and this is the "black mecca"

I've been to plenty of Wu Tang shows. Starting in 99.
I'm not taking the postion that they've got an all-black fan base. But based on what @CashmereThoughts posted, there seems to be a "normal" white fan base for a hip hop act and Wu has apparently surpassed that "normal" white fan base. I'm not counting white people when I go to Wu shows (or any show for that matter) So I was wondering:

1. What is the "normal" white fan base?
2. What is the Wu white fan base?
3. Where are these numbers coming from?

can say the same with wu-tang...i've seen videos of them in NY in the 90's with all-black audiences...those are the REAL fans....these creatures at their shows today are just cac hipsters being cac hipsters.

Since cacs have no culture, they're willing to shell out money for anything that seems "exotic" to them. I was at Ghost/Rae OB4CL tour last year and my GF and myself were definitely in the minority. This was HOB Chicago.

I will say the crowd's median age was probably OLDER than most hip-hop fan bases though.
