OP picking up right where he left off with the terrible threads.

When you go from making $300k a year and driving luxury cars to being laid off, what else can you do but come out with hot takes?

What kind of dumb thread is that.

Rae has some of the dopest mixtapes outside of his albums. Go check the Vatican Mixtape, especially vol 1.

Cuban Linx part 2 was a solid studio album as well.

Yall trashing Immobilarity way too much like it's affected his entire career.

There’s over a dozen MC’s in most people’s top 50 list that don’t have a single classic album and would sell their souls to have a catalog like Rae’s.

Rae might have 1 classic, but its a contender for 🐐 conversation. Few other great albums. And not to mention his contributions to 36 chambers, forever and Ironman. Atleast 4 classics thanks to his contributions

Only Built 2 is fire, super fire. This last one is good, it’s not crazy imo but it’s a good release. That “Immobilarity” shhit was so buns it kinda ruined Rae’s whole bop lol. Rae is one of them ones lowkey imo, always was to me, he should/could have been bigger than he was, special MC.

nikkas need to stop overrating OB4CL2 it was just iiight

Rae put out an albums worth of classic material on mixtapes from 2005 to 2007

Classic shyt like "Curious" and "Black Trump" rapping like he was 19 and never seen bread

only to drop OB4CL2 rapping like he just took some sleeping pills....:russell:

its a big step up from lex diamond but that ain't saying a lot :mjlol:

you'd have to pretend hip-hop before 2008 never existed to rate a lot of these newer albums as highly as some of ya'll do
like most of the weak ass albums stickied in the booth right now

Linx 2 is super solid for how long it is. It’s like 25 damn songs and most of them are a solid 4/5 or better

Like it is one of the most influential hip hop albums ever and basically ushered in the mafioso rap that dominated the east coast the rest of the 90s. Yet he never did anything that was a fraction as relevant since. When people speak about Raekwon they bring up the album but nothing else really. “Man ob4cl was fire one of the goat albums” then it’s crickets. Ghost went on to make Ironman and Supreme Clientele and a few other albums we talk about. The only other emcee who had such an influential album then nothing else really of note is Lauryn Hill.

Okay, I read your opinion. And my thoughts are...you may not be built for Cuban Linx 🤷

How about we stay grateful that any track that came out of Rae's brain.

The streets of New York could have taken him out early.

But he chose music and discipline. And he blessed the whole world!

That’s ghost face album without it just raekwon rambling
Ah, come on. You know it's the synergy between the two of them and the whole Wu.

"Purple tape co-host"

It's bugged how Dirty was credited as vocals for one of the last songs, but I don't think I could ever hear out his vocals on it.

Wild how he never had a verse, but maybe he wouldn't have fit with the theme. Who knows. It came perfect.

It's cool how he's on Gza's Duel of the iron mic tho.
