no I understood your questions. Im not stupid. and I implicitly agreed with you that with guys like luck theres always a chance of him going downfield.

however, qbs just dont go downfield that often anymore for guys with cannons to be vastly superior. if a qb is good, and only can beat you short, he will stay good.
if a qb is good and can beat you both ways its a nice bonus, but not game-changing shyt

teams still stack the fukk out of the box against kaep and he has a cannon. and the whole he doesnt have weapons steez doesnt work

again, please understand that Im not saying having a big arm is not good if it complements the qbs good traits

its just not a prerequisite. a pitcher who can throw a FB over 90 mph is nice, but he doesnt have to have plus velocity on his FB to be a good pitcher
he might not ever be a more than a good pitcher, but a mediocre FB doesnt stop him from being at least good.

good mechanics, not tebow like release, and general accuracy ARE prereqs. hence tim tebow will never be a successful NFL qb even if he had the arm of jawalrus

a baseball player might have no power so outfield plays him shallow EVERY time. does it make him a bad baseball hitter ? no
a basketball player might have no jumper so defenses dont worry about him beyond the 3pt line too much and play in front of him. does that make him a bad basketball player ? no
a soccer player might have a shytty shot so defenders wont try to mark him too tight and instead a bit in front of him. is he a bad soccer player ? no

all these players usually have something else to compensate for lack of some skill . since qbs main job is to make good decisions, a qb with not a good arm will usually get by on relying on accuracy and decision-making.
