The real story is that Jerry doesn't want them sniffing around about moving to San Antonio which is Cowboys territory. Plus Rams owner Kronke want's LA all to himself, and the Chargers owner is happy cause he won't have to move to LA. The Rams and Chargers don't want the Raiders in Southern Cali because they'll argueably be the most popular team in the Southland and will eat heavily into their profits. And the 49ers owner, York, will be in favor of the move as well since this means he has the entire Bay Area to himself. Raiders to Vegas works for too many owners

From the outside looking in, the Raiders have always struck me as Cali's team. I've met plenty of SoCal Raiders fans

Yessir.

Not to mention they noticed the NHL swoop in and start a franchise there. They aint gonna let hockey take all the sports revenue there, shiet if the NHL can make dough in Vegas, you know the NFL can.

They are they just cant get the right stadium deal in Cali for some reason been trying for like 20 years. Should of been Raiders in LA stead of Rams.
To keep it 100.. Al Davis didn't see the end game and was short sighted. Nothing against Oakland but Al should've never left LA in the first place. Too impatient. He was going to get a new stadium in a 2-3 years on the same parcel of land in Inglewood where the Rams are going to build their stadium at.. Either there or next door to Dodger Stadium. He just had to hold up for a minute and wait shyt out. The Rams already announced they were leaving so the Raiders had LA all to themselves. But nah he ran back to Oakland just to get that "Mount Al Davis" upper deck section built into the stadium that has been tarped off for years now.. Davis family could've been worth billions by now:snoop:

The NHL is gonna flop in a few years in Vegas. They'll be looking to fold or relocate in about 6 years from now

Have they decided on where they're building the stadium? I know one location was across from Mandalay Bay on the opposite side of the 15 and on Tropicana between the Thomas and Mack Center and MGM
No they haven't yet but in the picture it is across the freeway from Mandalay Bay...that seems to be the favorite...the other site is adjacent to Mandalay where the golf course is...unlv site not happening because of the airport..the city is still pushing for downtown at cashman field...but that's skid row man ...2 billion dollar stadium next to tent city? Not happening

You might be right...I'm still skeptical...the only thing is vegas has a history of supporting minor league hockey...the wranglers sold out on the regular...so did the thunder ...and they already sold like 15000 season tickets...wish we got a basketball team first tho... hopefully that will follow after the Raiders

Vegas population is lower than I expected. I always figured they were in the 1M+ range

None of those sites sound appealing get or make sense to me. I said why not put it out by the Racetrack. The strip is already a pain in the ass to drive on. I can't imagine how much of a headache it'll be when a stadium gets added into the mix.
