Not really, at the time we didnt have a QB to groom, and nobody knew that pryor would take a leap in his passing abilities. We drafted him to groom, but we picked up an undrafted FA who happens to be better. I think it shins a good light on him to be able to not let draft status affect a persons position on the team. You want it work for it, Wilson didnt work for it. Pyror has been working, thiis shows the team to compete for your spot and/or playing time. I think this can only be good in the long run, we will have a team used to fighting for what they have so on Sundays they can fight together.

Also dont forget we have about $40 million in dead money, which hurts our talent acquisitions greatly.


Also players drafted in the 4th usually dont do much. It's a plus if you can find a starter in the 4th. wasted pick yeah, but not if McGloin got drafted or signed with a different team.
