I don't know why I still randomly think about this sometimes, but their used to be a show on MTV where people would watch music videos and then rate the song and video.

Well this song made the show and even back then I was thinking how awkward it was for a bunch of white people to be judging this song.

I was like this song has too much soul for these white people. They don't "get" music like this
