He said he spoke to the people who run it, he said they had a healthy conversation. From now on, they'll change the introduction and instead of acting like they're the artist, they will present themselves as a team of people working with the artists. Rain also worked out getting artists that had issues what they paid for or getting their money back. Good work. Also, they're shortening the mixtapes and making the artists get on their IG and release a video promoting it.

ITS ABSOULUTELY INSANE
THAT THEY WOULDNT EVEN
PROMOTE THE shyt

Nah donโ€™t put that on Rain. He did the right thing. Sounds like he got a better deal for these artists. It wonโ€™t stop, but itโ€™ll be more truthful language and even got the actual artists to promote for the first time.

I salute that man.

I been gaining a lot more respect for Rain recently as he continues to grow as an individual it seems. I was tuned in when he was on live calling out these rappers and he isnt wrong. Its been going on for a year now and most were scared to speak up or didnt have enough followers to reach.

Kool Kim (NYOil) said a few months ago that someone tagged him in Pap post and he hit them back and they told him $1k to get on the mixtape and he said fukk that and something along the lines he asked for a feature and whoever was on the DM told him he didnt have enough followers to get on a track with him.

now, back to Rain...he said he was only going at the rappers who made verification videos...the most popular ones I came across that did this was Jada and Pap. I am sure there are more but those are ones I seen videos for.

to be fair though...even though its still shady....Jada did say in the video that you had to pay and it wasnt anything free...and he did host a tape and introduce the artists...but I couldnt get through that shyt because it was like 50 songs...I went through about the first 10 and shut it off. Also he did get on live with some of the artists that he did the tape with.

now the tapes that never came out or were not promoted or hosted and they took money, they should be addressed and hope subsequent fades dont follow

sn: also on Rain live he had Bink on and he was going at Just as usual :mjlol:

Rain produced DNA last album and a new one coming up...also Rain last album Amber Vision was dope.

He is. Sheek too

I cant say for sure they are like some of these dudes but then again, I havent seen it to say. I know Sheek was doing some "radio" thing and the artists were supposed to actually be on the radio program with him. Jada and Styles been doing them mixtapes for sure though...but as I stated in post above, Jada was someone involved despite it being an obvious money grab. Styles got at least two tapes out titled "Ghost Bars"

Didn't Hell Rell try to do some shyt like this and got his ass whooped?

:patrice:

nah, somebody paid him for a feature and he didnt deliver. nikka said the ProTools session expired. caught him lackin in Miami, kidnapped him and took him to the studio. nikka drawls prob looked like melted Snicker bar

Breh when I first discovered this on my own a while back, the main thing that had me fukked up, was how unapologetic these rappers were and how they didnโ€™t seem to be too concerned with how it would effect their image. Thatโ€™s when I was like, these dudes really gotta be hurting for money
