So based on watching last week's episode looks like Dr. Umar Johnson was right about White fathers being honest with their Mulatto children being black.
I thought this was one of the show's best episodes even though I really can't relate to the whole identity crisis from being mixed thing.
I never had any conflict about being accepted in black or white culture. I'm mixed, was raised in a black community and can navigate the white world pretty smoothly. But I have known other mixed people who had issues and all of them have been women so I wonder if it is a bigger deal for mixed females than it is for mixed race males.
Also calling me a mulatto, quadroon or octoroon would get you fukked up in real life. Just saying.
