A few thoughts. The beatdown obviously went too far and he should be charged for the assault maybe even attempted murder. I don't think he intended to kill Stu but he still did what he intended to do and that was to punch Syko Stu until someone pulled him off.
In MMA fighters regularly get off 3-4 punches in like 2 seconds of KOing a grounded opponent and the ref and other wrestlers were slow, shocked, scared, selling for the match etc. Still Raja did that shyt and was in the wrong for intending to hurt the man and punching him that many times while he was already knocked out. It showed his indifference to if Stu lived or died. The promotion should not have invited or trusted Raja to do the run in or told that he could give the guy a receipt (legit retaliatory hit). Typical carny wrestling
Oh this guy has actual heat with this guy and he's popular on KICK! He'll give him a stiff punch in the ring and we'll get a bunch of views!
He and it did.
Syko Stu shouldn't have hit him with the beer can
gimmicked (fake) or not. While he may have thought Raja was a pro wrestler too he
did not know him or what his character was so he did too much expecting him to take the shot and
sell (pretend to be hurt
) for him, it may have gone against his character after all and wrestlers work together and map these thing out ahead of time or there's trust because they know each other. There are also wrestlers behind the scenes who're known to be unstable and liable to violently lash out if they think you're trying to get over at their expense. That's why you're seeing some odd reactions from MMA fighters and Pro Wrestlers who aren't as angry at Raja as you'd expect.
I also agree that how Rampage has treated Raja has played a huge part in his behavior and mental health. Lowkey I think the fact he's still not arrested and this happening in California I wouldn't be surprised if he gets a slap on the wrist.
