The point guard race in the NBA is vicious....But I been a big Rondo fan since I saw him in HS with Josh Smith. If this dude had a consistent shot he without a doubt would be the best PG in the L...I'm not big on westbrook so its easily Rondo for me. Its still to many times he's dribbling right in that FT area and the defender is just daring him to shoot and he doesn't my only beef with his game

there's always been this irrational hate against rondo, with a lot people refusing to give the man his credit. this has been going on since this the celtics won in 08. he consistently comes up big in games, is a triple-double machine, and has been the leader of this celtics squad for a minute now. IMO he is the best pure PG in the league and the one I'd want the most on my team. but something about him seems to rub people the wrong way, like they think he's just some overachieving bum that's just been lucky all this time and is gonna fall off soon; or they think without the big 3 he's nothing (BS)

This. IMO Rondo's the best PG in the league even with a healthy D Rose, I prefer a PG who can do it all over a score first PG, but that's just me.
Still these reactionary threads are worse than on the other site
