I remember getting into them on other basketball forums and telling them rondo was not that good and playing with Allen, kg, and Peirce masked a lot of his deficiencies as a player.

Rondo stat padded in sac dude was litterally forcing was to get assist and didnt defend anyone out on the perimeter. When u put rondo and demarcus in the same locker room i watched that entire season get 10 mil to half try brehs

He's done. I thought he was finished after Dallas. Anyone with eyes could have seen he didn't fit in the league after that.

After his Mavs and Kings stints, and 1/3 of the season with the Bulls, every team knows he is a locker room cancer that can't shoot (not at the basket, not at the line, not on the perimeter), doesn't play defense consistently, and pounds the basketball until he gets assist opportunities.

His skills and playstyle don't fit in this era.

Rondo has been terrible, killed the pace of the offense, doesn't play defense and pounds the ball trolling for assist.

Now of course it doesn't help, that career 35-40% 3pt shooters all of a sudden forgot how to shoot, when you consider canaan, niko, doug, all losing their shooting, that might be all on the coach, but that doesn't help rondo at all.

But rondo is def not that great of a playmaker.
