Why would Jackie lie though? She is a well respected journalist and isn't on that Wojo/screw eye "be the first to break the story" shyt. Rondo trolls the fukk out of these journalists, so I could see no one else trying to pick up the story, but Jackie has worked to hard at the craft being a woman journalist in a man's sport to take some bullshyt bait and throwing it out there to get a "scoop". Her pen game is well respected.
All the people saying that Boston has no leverage, LOL, this is the NBA we are talking about, and these GM's are pretty much food for Dannis Baratheon. He don't burn bridges with players, agents, or fellow GM's (except Pat, but Fukk Pat), so he will get Rondo the deal he wants and Rondo will cooperate to get Boston the best deal that can be had. Despite the rumors of Rondo being traded for years, Danny has always held him in the highest regard as a player from way back in his college days, and I'm sure that Rondo appreciates that.

Even if he didn't demand a trade they'res no reason to keep a disgruntled rondo on a rebuilding team that well probably be bad for awhile

Rondo isn't gonna want to be on a 30 win team the rest of his prime
