speakin of this, i was throwin around the idea of a trade involving westbrook/rondoCeltics still lost to OKC without Durant and Westbrook though
i think russ needs his own team. and i think rondo would be ill as fukk on that squad. with the right pieces/whatever i think that could be good for both

That trade would be good for both teams.
Rondo's a great facilitator, but he can't carry a team like Westbrook can. But at the same time, Rondo with Durant is a better tandem than Durant with Westbrook. shyt makes too much sense to work though so it won't happen.

OK, but he was still the starting PG on a CHAMPIONSHIP-WINNING team. Something D-Rose has not been. And he made another finals appearance afterwards. Rondo has been a MUCH better player since then and has become an ELITE PG. He's a perennial all-star. He's a walking triple-double (even after his injury), a great defender, a great rebounder, was the league leader in steals, has made multiple all-NBA defense teams, has put up legendary individual playoff performances, and is the most highly-sought after PG right now....
