It obviously didn't have any impact like the first two, but this was their most complete project.

The Seventh Seal was disappointing, and given his frequent dope collabs with Nick Wiz he chose some whatever beats this time. Ironically, Nick Wiz has gone on to release literally over half a dozen instrumental CD's of old beats, dozens of them better than what Rakim picked here.

Ra seemed to unable to make compromises and take a look at his craft from another standpoint than his own. I have a deep respect for him as an artist and how he carries himself in an industry designed to feed into the weak traits in a man but he didn't evolve which is necessary for an artist.
