You dress for yourself and within the social circle you are in. A man my age trying to dress like a young man looks silly, and always has looked silly. So we over here in the Unc with money status wear nice clothing that fits well, and looks good on us, while also being appropriate for our age.
The basic RL stuff ain’t hittin like it used to.
But like the previous poster polo has been a level above bum status since they started selling the nock off brand in Walmart.
The catalog collection $500+ might have something fly but if you rockin a solid polo with the horse on the chest in 2025 you’re autistic.
Only exception to polo is a semi formal event where there is an abundance of whites.

When I think of Unc status I think of a Polo that’s probably a size to big with some oversized jeans or cargo shorts.
Ralph, specifically their RRL and Purple Label branches still make grown, mature, well made pieces without looking obnoxiously out of touch.
