Instant noodles are a popular go-to lunch or dinner for those who are strapped for time (or cash), like college students. While you probably don’t consider them a health food, you may think they’re not that bad, or, at least, not as bad as eating a burger and fries or a fast-food burrito.​

He used a pill-sized camera to see what happens inside your stomach and digestive tract after you eat ramen noodles, one common type of instant noodles. The results were astonishing.

When food remains in your digestive tract for such a long time, it will also impact nutrient absorption, but, in the case of processed ramen noodles, there isn’t much nutrition to be had. Instead, there is a long list of additives, including the toxic preservative tertiary butyl hydroquinone (TBHQ).

This additive will likely remain in your stomach along with the seemingly invincible noodles, and no one knows what this extended exposure time may do to your health. Common sense suggests it’s not going to be good...

I still get a craving for ramen noodles every now and then. fukk it. I'm still gonna eat 'em when the mood strikes. They say everything gives you a disease these days. :yeshrug:

Just like doritos, chocolates, alcohol, red meats, ect. Is link to other diseases as well. Your body can take it in moderation. Its all bullshyt propaganda to scare consumers away from eating a poor mans meal. They aint saying nothing new here
Poor man needs to buy fresh produce and overstocked items with less preservatives from Aldis and Grocery Outlet :ufdup: Ramen is survival food. I do enjoy Taki's Fuego every now and again but too much makes your stool red and burning.
What about a legit Ramen noodle place :lupe:
The fresh/homemade ramen can be digested more easily. Like the ones at overrated ass Wagamama. The doctor at the end of the vid still eats them in moderation...

That video was an eye opener, but ramen noodles, or any type of pasta shouldn't be eaten by itself, its a simple carb. You are supposed to mix it with some protein, and fiber. Sometimes I just mix it with some beans that I saute with different spices, and onions. If I feel like it I add cabbage. The thing is I put the seasoning in while the noodles are cooking, then I drain everything because the packets have too much sodium.
