That's not the only reason, come on NFL be honest.

As odd as it sounds, he wasn't cut for underperforming, he was cut because he couldn't outperform the already great performers at his position. If that makes sense. He'll get picked up off waivers because he's better than SOMEONE on a team at DE. But as good a preseason he had, he just wasn't better than the monster DEs the Rams already had...few players could bump anyone of them off the roster.

This whole Michael Sam thing is amazing. On one end you got the people pushing gay agenda...on other end you got homophobes and people who are annoyed with the gay agenda. All the media gotta do is toss dudes name in the air and it starts a wildfire. That's why they interrupting TV to talk about a 7th round draft pick getting cut, dudes one of most polarizing players in NFL right now.

If you want the Michael Sam story to die, outside of waiting for him to exit league for good...just stop worrying about him. Stop pouring gas on it. If ESPN reports that he got cut and 1 million people tune in, doesn't matter if they love or hate him still 1 million ppl.

Mike was layin nikkas flat on their backs all preseason. He showed burst off the line and looked to have the stamina to punish his opponents all night long if needed. I definitely wouldnt be surprised if another squad picks him up
