Him & Jaylon Walker been out best defensive players all year. Pass rush & sacking the QB has been an issue for the Falcons for damn near 20 years but not anymore with those two. Just sucks we gave up a first round pick for him

I'm of belief that you go and get the player you want, value be damned. Too many people live in fantasy land where they think it's crazy to "reach" on a player by 10-15 spots based on some draft scouts rankings. If you think someone is going to be a stud, who cares if you "reached"? Get the talent.

Terrible pick. Too old and injury prone. He was good in college but clearly the game is too fast for him. I kinda feel bad for shytting on cousins last year. He was clearly hurt but he should’ve sat til he was healthy. I blame Rah for not sitting his ass down and telling him to chill til he’s healthy.

The real question is should Kirk have had an opportunity to start this season. They basically just gave the keys to Penix with no competition

Meh, I think they just lost the one seed and stopped caring. I think Stafford wins two games on the road and walks out of the season a first ballot Hall of Famer. Not a fan of Darnold and Philadelphia was never trying to go back to back despite what some media were telling people.

I don't buy the not not caring narrative people give teams that have a playoff spot locked up. Resting players is one thing, but the players out there are playing for incentives and new contracts. They are going to put in the effort.

Don’t forget Cousins was terrible last season. He deserved to have lost his spot.

Cousins was terrible his last few games but he was hurt. You don’t throw 500 yards in a game and then look like a complete scrub wincing after every throw later in the year

The real question is should Kirk have had an opportunity to start this season. They basically just gave the keys to Penix with no competition

Yep, I don’t think Penix did enough to have a “competition-less” training camp. Should’ve let them compete

Penix need knee replacement surgery at 26 years old tho breh…he ain’t the whole reason why we struggled but he’s starting to look funny in the light

What do you think about them going after Willis? Would you rather them stick with Penix/Cousins or draft a QB? They have pieces on that team and that division is very winnable.
