If Panthers extend Bryce to a multi year contract it will be a mistake. There is a ceiling and you can't have him taking majority of cap space

He made a few plays today, but I don't see how anyone that watched the game can think he played very well. He missed some critical throws, and wasted too much time trying to extend plays to only end up throwing a ten yard incompletion because he has a weak arm.

The pass to Hubbard that he missed was awful.

It depends on how they paying him, Bryce making $30-$35M is fair value, Bryce at $50M is malpractice. I might try to get him to sign for the low now, if he doesn’t bite, than let draft a qb in 27, then let his rookie deal expire in after the 2027 season.

I've been a day one Panther fan too, all the way back to home games at Clemson. I just can't share your confidence in Bryce. Too inconsistent. I am very interested in seeing what Dan Morgan and co. have in store with him. I doubt he and Canales are thoroughly convinced they have their QB1 of the future in him.
