The Redskins have a million holes(or seem to) because RG3 wasn't healthy all season.
yes, their defense was garbage because rg3 wasnt healthy all season
brilliant thinking there :mindblown:

Was there defense garbage the year before when they made the playoffs?

Defense varies year to year way more than offense. When you dont get sufficient production out of the QB position- the entire team suffers. If RG3 were to duplicate his 2012 or even build on it...the Redskins wouldnt seem to have a million holes.

for RG3? im not even mad. Id do the trade again.

If we gonna :umad: at anyone, it should be that idiot Shanahan for being an inept coach and personnel guy. But he got it right with RG3.

One good year and "he got it right" already:usure: rg3 stans got ahead of thmesvles as much as RG3 did

You guys blame it on injuries i say the league figured him out well see whos right but to say hes a sure thign beasue of one good year and now one bad one is assinine the jury is still out on him

yes, yes it was. its just washington stans and qb lovers like yourself were delusional thinking that defense wont be their downfall

Defense varies year to year way more than offense.
youve been saying that for years, yet both Niners and Seahawks have had their defense not vary much during last 3 years, much less volatile then their offense

but who am I talking to, youd sell your left testicle for a proverbial rg3 :heh:

You have no idea what you are talking about. You're obsessed with pinning the downfall of a team on their defense not playing well. Look around the league and find me the team that's getting below average production from their QB and is in the mix?

RG3 stunk this year. That was the teams biggest issue.

Seattle's defense has been great for the past 2 years. When it comes down to writing the checks, WIlson is going to be their highest paid player. The NFL is about finding the guy at the QB position and allocating the correct amount of salary cap space to the other positions. Getting high quality production out of lower cost players(like the Seahawks) while solidifying the QB position is how you build a winner.

The defense has been garbage for years. The offense was the main reason last year why the team was competitive.

That was my point. The offense fell off a cliff this season and the team stunk.

You have a point. When rg3 was playing like a star last year the defense was crap but it didnt matter. They still won ten games and the division

In the NFL, it's very hard to suck when your QB is playing at a Superstar or all pro level.

no, YOU have no idea what youre talking about
you say how theres no continuity with defense, and continuity with qb

yet when I ask why the Niners, winning with their D for 3 years, will make the playoffs 3 years straight (and one year was nfc championship really close to SB, other was SB close to winning it, this year who knows)
despite having shytty pass offense (ranked in bottom 5-10)
or seattle having great D despite having mediocre pass offense

you have no answer. you kept on saying bullshyt like the Niners are a fluke since 2011, and yet here they are, winning with their D, 3 years in a row, while offense remains highly problematic.

and a team thats invested in solidifying qb position with shyt around them, ie washington, atlanta, detroit, etc.
are in shyt and wont get out of shyt in a while.

Rams won't take a QB, and I don't really think Bridgewater is top flight like that, just the best out of an average bunch. Bradford was playing well this season, but the offense didn't want to establish running Stacy until after the Seahawks game midway through the season. The defense is the only reason the Rams are sitting at 7-8 right now. Quinn has stepped up to being a beast, and the run defense has really improved since the beginning of the season (which I think has a lot to do with Dunbar coming back from the 4 game suspension).

The trade worked out well for both teams seeing how the Redskins went to the playoffs and the Rams will have a number 1 or 2 pick this draft. But the real winner is seeing which team will be able to build a contender for a number of years with this trade, not for one season.

Rams will more than likely take Jake Matthews (I thought we'd take him even before Jake Long tore his ACL yesterday). OT's are the sexy pick, but building a line is necessary to building a team. The second first round pick will be either Watkins if he is there, or possibly a much needed safety.

100% this.

Had holes in the secondary, no pass rush (thanks to injuries last year, a bad OLine, and just one WR who was only healthy for 9 of our games last year.

RG3 hid a lot of the problems this team had last season. Just like Brady does in New England, Peyton does in Denver, and Rodgers does in Green Bay.

Our receivers did much better last year. Robinson looked like a really fast guy who was a deep threat and Morgan at least was a solid possession receiver. Davis was great too and reliable. With the exception of Garcon, every receiver has regressed this year.

This dude just put RG3 into the same group as Brady Manning and Rodgers yet its the RG3 "haters" who are unfair and dellusional :banderas:

nah, Morgan was about the same this season. Santana was the possession guy.

Davis was injured from week 6 on, iirc.

well yeah, Brees, Luck, Cam, and a few others. Good QB play masks the problems teams have. I dont understand the problem? :ld:

Or are you doing your racial trolling again?

Where have I ever said the Niners were a fluke? They have good players and they have a QB. Their passing offense doesnt suck, not sure where you're getting that from.
