I'm not a huge fan of his flat tax but u guys are unrealistic
There will ALWAYS be income inequality
Ppl are born into rich families it's life
U cannot change that, fighting to do so is fighting for a utopia.

Liberals are not in touch with reality

Where are all these smart, hard working, focused poor people you guys always speak of?

Im talking about the people that are poor even though they wake up early, read a lot, save money, learn new skills.
The hood and trailer park is full of them right?

There has never been more opportunity in the world...why is it societies fault youre not taking advantage of it?

The majority of the country would like a word with you.

:mjlol:

You probably see yourself as a temporarily impoverished millionaire. Right?

yea...the majority of people are focused on bullshyt.
The reason why Love and Hip Hop trends on Twitter every Sunday...and people cant stop talking about the Kardashians.

Why do you think im impoverished? :dwillhuh:
I decided I was dont w/ being broke 3 yrs ago and quit my job...been doing good ever since :francis:

I used to think like you all...but I grew up (no offense).

You still didnt address my original point...how come most people arent focused on their careers/business/financial life? If youre not, why be upset at people that are?

I think he was too PC if you ask me. He should of flat out said that ppl are not equal in skills or genetic potential, therefore the results wont be either, so the best we can ever hope to achieve is equal of opportunity. Disparities are not the exception, they're the rule of human nature.

Also, I really enjoy how that article only cites one attribute from his tax cut so they can push their narrative, and the data they cite for the growing income equality is just a abstract screenshot of income brackets at a giving time frame, not studies of human beings who are moving from one bracket to another over time which is important for the long run.

For example, did you know that more than half the people who were in the top 1 percent in 1996 were no longer there in 2005. Of course libs will go on about their "top one percent" of income earners who are supposedly getting an ever-increasing share of the countries income which is true if you are talking about income brackets. But It is totally untrue if you are talking about actual people. Yeah, this might shock ppl, but there is this thing called Economic mobility.
except economic mobility in this country isn't very good

you can more or less predict someone's future income based on the zip code they are born in

Then socialists are your enemy!
And how do you enforce a fair chance?

Only way to do that is to get govt out of the economy.
But it CANNOT be enforced.

My parents were poor
I grew up in a roach infested appt

I and only me changed that and am now living in a nice house and will soon upgrade to something bigger.

I did this by studying, being a bookworm, and making intelligent decisions while not being a spendthrift.
Work like slave n eat like a king.

In no way am I lazy in life.
I still study my ass off to escalate in life even more, go to the gym 6 days a week and live in books.
I NEVER listened in school though I was always self educated in everything so good schools not being around is no excuse.

Life can absolutely be great.

I see where you're coming from but with that comment you just made right here is whats wrong with that line of thinking.

Lazyness is abstract, what is lazy to me might not be to you.

A transaction implies a lack of coercion. In a libertarian world, with no or next to no protection for laborers, coercion is inherent. Is it a free and fair transaction when the only choice is between doing a task and starvation? How is this scenerio voluntary?

libertarians just think you quit that job and go to another one if you're treated poorly

they also think if a white establishment treats you like shyt, you should just go to another one that will accept your black ass

So who worked harder the billionaire real estate businessman or the world renowned neurosurgeon?

One is worth $10 billion and the other is worth .001 of $10 billion.

Did the real estate billionaire work 1000 times harder than the surgeon?

Pay isnt merely a reward for effort... or even merit.
